There is no precise and yet proven information about the transmission of the virus from a positive mother to a fetus
Dr. Asghar Marzban, a subspecialist of neonatal infants, said in the 63rd section of the health studio's live communication with the province's Ishraq network: "The problems of coronavirus are not well known yet. Perhaps with the clinical signs born, both are examined by a process Mother should be cared for and hospitalized 14 days before delivery and 28 days after delivery, if the mother has symptoms of the disease. It is also important to observe the health tips in the delivery room, which has a more limited space.
The subspecialty further said that skin-to-skin contact with the current conditions of the disease does not occur and the breast feeding by the affected mother should be done in accordance with the hygienic points and the isolation rules and at a distance from the baby and the presence of a third person.
He emphasized: "We do not have accurate and confirmed information about the transferring of the disease from the positive mother to the fetus and it has not been proven yet."
