The critical care nursing department started its activity in 2014 after segregation of the educational departments. This department aims at training the graduates who are efficient and competent in emergency care. In addition to training specialist graduates, this department is also active in running undergraduate and postgraduate programs as well as teaching of related theoretical and practical courses. Critical Care master program was initiated in 2009 as the first postgraduate program in the Faculty of Nursing. In February 2012, the Emergency Nursing Department was established in the faculty under the management of Critical Care Nursing Department.
