Clinical Psychology Department

Clinical Psychology Group has initiated its worksince 2011 with two full time professors at the aim of admission ofM.Astudents in clinical psychology. In 2014, the group succeededinadmitting PHD students in Addiction Studies field,and thattwo groups of students have been accepted by university  so far (2017). Nowadays,there are four full time professors in this group working on their educational, research, and clinical duties. The group members in addition to trainingthe clinical psychology students co-operatewith psychiatry group in their educational purpose and training the residents of psychiatry in a collaborative effort, andtake partactively in their weekly journal club presentations and grand round programs on a regular basis.

Moreover, clinical psychology departmentprovides education of psychology course for graduate and postgraduate students in several fields including medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, paramedical and health, and nursing and obstetricdisciplines. Faculty members are involved in clinical programs of specialty Sohravardi Clinic in morning and afternoon.
